Kyle Gibson Named Opening Day Starter
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Gibson has been named the Opening Day starter. The 35-year-old signed a one-year, $10 million deal with the team over the offseason. He's by far the most experienced pitcher on the staff, so it makes sense that they'd give him the Opening Day nod. He struggled last season in 31 starts with the Philadelphia Phillies. However, Gibson has looked much better this spring, which gives hope for a bounce back campaign. Fantasy managers shouldn't get too excited and view Gibson as a deep league option.
