Kyle Gibson Holds Red Sox To One Run On Thursday
6 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Kyle Gibson earned his fifth win on Thursday and it came via a fantastic performance against the American League East-leading Boston Red Sox. Gibson went eight strong innings, allowing just one run on four hits, walking two and striking out seven. He even got out of a bases-loaded jam in the very first innings. Gibson has now posted three quality starts in his last five appearances. His fantasy value would increase if he was to be moved to a contender, but it remains to be seen if the Twins decide to sell. Next up for Gibson is a tough matchup against the rival Cleveland Indians.
