Kyle Freeland Strains Oblique, Heads To Injured List
1 year agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Kyle Freeland strained his right oblique during Saturday's game. He was placed on the 15-day IL and his season is over. Freeland was having a strong outing against the San Francisco Giants before being removed. The lefty threw three innings of one-run baseball, allowing four hits and a walk while striking out one. This ends a poor season for the 30-year-old. He winds up with a 6-14 record to go with a 5.03 ERA and 1.47 WHIP.
