Kyle Freeland Exits Early On Sunday
1 year agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Kyle Freeland (shoulder) was forced to exit early during Sunday's game against the San Francisco Giants. The left-hander injured his non-throwing shoulder while diving for a bunt in the seventh inning. Prior to exiting, Freeland had allowed just one run on seven hits over 6 1/3 innings. The expectation is that Freeland will undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury. The Rockies should have an update on his status shortly.
