Kyle Finnegan Collects First Save
2 years agoWashington Nationals relief pitcher Kyle Finnegan held onto a three-run lead to pick up his first save in a 4-1 win over the Atlanta Braves. Finnegan bounced back nicely from a rough outing on opening day, tossing a scoreless, hitless frame in which he did not walk or strikeout a batter. Finnegan is expected to work primarily as the team's closer, although a partial committee has been hinted at. The Nationals are going to be pretty bad and Finnegan isn't exactly a shutdown guy, but if you are looking for someone out of this bullpen, he's the one to grab.
