Kyle Farmer Dealing With Minor Soreness
3 years agoCincinnati Reds shortstop Kyle Farmer is dealing with some "bumps and bruises" and was out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals. "Hopefully he can get those little minor things healed up and be back in there tomorrow," said manager David Bell. Farmer has struggled offensively, hitting .205 (9-for-44) with a homer, four RBI, and a stolen base over his last 15 games. The 30-year-old continues to play every day and has fantasy appeal in deep-league formats due to his multi-eligibility. Farmer is considered day-to-day for now but is expected to return to the lineup soon.
