3 years agoCincinnati Reds shortstop Kyle Farmer is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against Brett Anderson and the Milwaukee Brewers. Jose Barrero will be the team's shortstop for the game and he's batting eighth in the order. Farmer has continued to be a solid producer for the Reds over the past few weeks. He's recorded at least one hit in 12 of his last 13 games. He's seen his power numbers drop off as his .369 slugging percentage in August is well below his .691 slugging percentage in July. His multiple positional eligibilities make him enticing for fantasy purposes and he's worth rostering in deep leagues if you need him at one of his many positions.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
