Kyle Busch Obtains The Pole For Dover
8 months agoRichard Childress Racing driver Kyle Busch nabbed his first pole of the season at Dover Motor Speedway for the Wurth 400. This marks the second year in a row Busch has collected the pole at Dover and his fourth overall at the site. In 35 races at DMS, Busch has three wins, 21 top-10 finishes, and led 1,341 laps, which is second-most of active drivers. In last year's race at Dover, The No. 8 Chevrolet driver led 25 laps before fading to a finish of 21st. After 10 races completed so far this year, Busch has three top-10 finishes and led in five different Cup events. In practice, Busch's five-consecutive lap average ranked 11th of all drivers, while his overall lap average ranked fifth of all drivers. Busch's Dover history is great, but his equipment and practice speeds give cause for concern since he has no Place Differential upside. Even if Busch leads a couple of laps, he is one driver that is hard to trust at the front by the end of this race with RCR. Fantasy players should only roster Busch with caution in tournament-based lineups at Dover.
