Kyle Busch May Have A Strong Run At The Charlotte Roval
1 month agoFor Sunday's Bank of America ROVAL 400 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval course, Kyle Busch will start 11th after qualifying, marking his fourth start at the site where he will start a race outside of the top 10. In six starts at the Roval, Busch has three finishes of fourth or better, all obtained in his last three appearances at the site. The No. 8 Chevrolet driver is the only one in the field to place in the top 5 in all races at the Charlotte Roval in the Next-Gen car. With 31 races completed this season, Busch has 10 top-10 finishes and an average finish of 17.8. At road and street courses this year, Busch has three finishes of 12th or better at the track type, including finishes of ninth at COTA and the Chicago Street Course. In the first practice, Busch ranked eighth in five consecutive lap averages and 11th in the same category during final practice. Due to Busch's excellent recent history at the Roval and his solid record at road courses this season, he should not be overlooked this week in DFS as a racer capable of placing in the top 10.
