Kyle Busch Is One To Watch At Atlanta This Week
3 months agoKyle Busch obtained a starting position of 15th for the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. This will be the fourth time in his Cup career since the introduction of the Next-Gen car in 2022 that Busch will start inside the Top 15 at Atlanta. In five races at AMS since the track's 2022 reconfiguration, Busch has three top-10 finishes, all within his last three appearances at the site. The No. 8 Chevrolet driver also led in three of the previous five Atlanta races, which 28 laps led in the February race earlier in 2024. Through 26 Cup races, Busch has nine top-10 finishes but is one of the hottest drivers in recent weeks, with top-5 finishes in the last three Cup races. Busch is one of the top performers at superspeedways this year, placing third in Atlanta in February and second at Daytona two weeks ago. Busch is highly motivated to keep his yearly win streak alive, and with Atlanta being one of his best opportunities to do so, he should be on the radar of fantasy players. Busch is recommended for all lineups as he has favorable PD upside and has run well at superspeedways since joining Richard Childress Racing in 2023.
