Kyle Bradish To Make A Rehab Start Tuesday
8 months agoBaltimore Orioles right-hander Kyle Bradish (elbow) will make his first minor-league rehab start on Tuesday with Double-A Bowie. Bradish is hoping to go two to three innings or 40 to 50 pitches in his first rehab start this week. The 27-year-old is recovering from a partial tear to his right UCL, so the Orioles are probably going to be pretty cautious with him as he attempts to return to the major-league rotation. There's no guarantee that Bradish will be able to get through all of the 2024 season without suffering a setback that would require season-ending Tommy John surgery, but the hope for now is that he can return to the O's rotation and avoid going under the knife. After his breakout performance in 2023, Bradish deserves to be stashed in an IL spot for now in at least deep-mixed fantasy leagues.
