Kyle Bradish Throwing On Flat Ground, Feels Good
2 days agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish (elbow) has been throwing on flat ground, and his elbow "feels good." However, the right-hander still does not have a definite timetable. The 28-year-old underwent Tommy John surgery with an internal brace procedure last June. Bradish noted that he was pitching through pain before the operation but wanted to help his team. Fantasy managers should continue monitoring his status, as he could return sometime in the second half of the campaign. Before being shut down last summer, Bradish posted a strong 2.75 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP across 39 1/3 innings. Bradish tallied strikeouts at an elite 32.5 percent rate and ground balls at an excellent 56.0 percent rate. While Bradish is sidelined, fantasy managers should expect Dean Kremer to be deployed in the final spot in the starting rotation.
