Kyle Bradish On Track To Return Later This Summer
2 days agoBaltimore Orioles right-hander Kyle Bradish's (elbow) recovery from Tommy John surgery is "flying along" as well as it could be, according to general manager Mike Elias. Bradish is right on track in his recovery and could return in the later half of the summer. The 28-year-old threw his first bullpen session last Saturday since he had TJ surgery last June. While he had an ERA under 3.00 in each of the last two seasons, he only made eight starts in 2024 before being shut down with elbow issues before needing elbow reconstruction. When Bradish does return, he'll have his innings managed, which will lower his fantasy ceiling. For now, he should remain on the waiver wire in most single-year fantasy leagues. In 30 starts in his second MLB season in 2023, Bradish went 12-7 with a 2.83 ERA and 1.04 WHIP with 168 strikeouts and 44 walks in 168 2/3 frames over 30 starts.
