Kutter Crawford Tosses Seven Efficient Innings
5 months agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Kutter Crawford was outstanding on Sunday Night Baseball, going seven shutout innings against the New York Yankees and picking up the win in a 3-0 victory. Crawford allowed just four hits and didn't walk a batter while striking out four. He was able to get through seven innings on just 68 pitches, but manager Alex Cora didn't want to take any risks against the Bo-Sox biggest rivals and put his best relief arms in to close it out. Crawford has now gone six or more innings in seven consecutive starts and has managed to do so with less than 90 pitches thrown in six of those. He might even be able to go further in games, but fantasy managers will take starts like these every time.
