Kristaps Porzingis Solid in Victory at Brooklyn
7 years agoNew York Knicks power forward Kristaps Porzingis had another stellar performance against Brooklyn in the battle of the boroughs, almost reaching a double-double with 26 points and nine rebounds as well as chipping in two blocks, as he leads the league in that category. The 7-foot-3 Latvian has rapidly become one of the game's more efficient young superstars for a Knicks franchise that is looking to move on from the mainly disappointing Carmelo Anthony era. With the continued success from the big man, there has been a fair share of growing pains throughout his development, as KP has said that he had felt sluggish towards the end of games, which can be expected from such a young player over the course of a season. As the season rolls through, the team may decide to give the Unicorn a night off here and there, but when Porzingis plays, he is a bright star in today’s NBA.
