Kris Bubic Has Short Outing In MLB Debut
4 years agoKansas City Royals pitcher Kris Bubic was tagged with the loss in his MLB debut on Friday against the Chicago White Sox. He pitched four innings and allowed three hits, one walk and three runs, two of which were earned. He struck out three in the game. Bubic earned his opportunity to start due to the multitude of Royals pitchers on the Injured List following positive COVID-19 test leading up to the season. The 22-year-old Bubic had a solid year in the minors last year, posting a 2.23 ERA and 0.97 WHIP and 11.1 K/9. He certainly could be worthy of fantasy consideration in the near future, but for now, while his rotation spot is tentative, he can remain on waivers.
