Kris Bryant To Be Reevaluated On Tuesday
3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Kris Bryant (back) was a late scratch from the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates due to back soreness. After the game, Rockies manager Bud Black stated that Bryant's back flared up on him and added that the veteran would be reevaluated on Tuesday. Bryant is off to a rough start to his Rockies career. He recently missed about a month with a lower back injury, making his long-awaited return this past weekend. On the year, he's played in just 17 games. While his .270 batting average is certainly decent, he has yet to hit a home run and he's slugging just .333.
