3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Kris Bryant (back) was scratched from the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He is reportedly dealing with back soreness. While he will no longer be starting, he will be available off the bench for the game. Sam Hilliard is taking Bryant's spot in left field for the game. This is concerning news as Bryant had just returned from the injured list on Saturday after missing about a month due to a lower back injury. He has gone 1-for-6 with a pair of walks and three strikeouts since his return. Since he's available off the bench Monday, it seems as if there's a decent chance he'll be back in the lineup on Tuesday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
