Kris Bryant Hits 17th Home Run
3 years agoChicago Cubs infielder/outfielder Kris Bryant went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's victory versus the Arizona Diamondbacks. Bryant's home run was part of back-to-back homers with Anthony Rizzo in the bottom of the first inning. Bryant missed a couple games earlier in the week with hamstring fatigue, but played all three games this weekend. Bryant is one of the top trade candidates with the deadline coming up and is now hitting .266 with 17 home runs, 50 RBI and four stolen bases. Regardless of the name on the front of his jersey, Bryant should be a valuable contributor the rest of the way.
