Kris Bryant Hasn't Resumed Baseball Activities After Negative MRI
6 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant (shoulder) still hasn't resumed baseball activities since a July 29 update. The 26-year-old received a second MRI on his bad shoulder and it came back negative, revealing no structural damage. He was set to receive a cortisone shot before swinging a bat, but as of yet the Cubs are playing it cautious with him. Before the injury, Bryant was hitting .276 with 11 home runs. Expect the Cubbies to continue platooning David Bote, Tommy La Stella, and Ian Happ at third going forward.
