Kris Bryant Collects Three Hits On Thursday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder/third baseman Kris Bryant went 3-for-5 with two double, one RBI and one run scored during a 5-4 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday. The newly acquired Giant delivered a game-winning RBI double in the top of the 10th inning off of Diamondbacks relief pitcher Tyler Gilbert. The four-time All-Star has been as advertised for his new club through five games, hitting .333 with three runs, two RBI, one homer, and two doubles. On the season, the 2016 NL MVP has 19 homers, 53 RBI, 61 runs scored, and four stolen bases with a .270/.359/.509 line through 344 at-bats. While Bryant isn't the elite fantasy player he once was, his positional flexibility and sturdy numbers are extremely valuable in most settings.
