7 years agoLos Angeles Angels right fielder Kole Calhoun was dropped to eighth in the lineup on Friday against right-hander Jeff Samardjiza. Calhoun has seen his playing time against left-handers dry up and is now hitting at the bottom of the order even against right-handers. This is not a good development for Calhoun, who is hitting just .200 on the year with one home run and one steal. With such a stacked lineup around him, don't be surprised if Calhoun remains near the bottom of the order for a while. He's a fringy outfielder outside of the deepest fantasy formats and is safe to drop in 10-team leagues if there is someone more appealing on the waiver wire.--patton
