7 years agoWashington Nationals reliever Koda Glover (shoulder) will begin the season on the 60-day disabled list due to shoulder tendinitis. Backup catcher Miguel Montero will take his spot on the 40-man roster. Glover, who was once being groomed as the team's closer, has battled injuries to his hip, back and shoulder for the past two seasons. Montero's only recent claim to fame is his ignominious release from the Cubs last year after criticizing pitcher Jake Arrieta.
