Kobe Bufkin Remains Out Wednesday
1 year agoAtlanta Hawks guard Kobe Bufkin (toe) will miss a second consecutive game on Wednesday versus Cleveland. He has hurt his left big toe and is currently missing a good opportunity to work as Atlanta's backup point guard behind Dejounte Murray. Trent Forrest filled the role on Tuesday versus the Knicks and had five points and four assists in 11 minutes. With Trae Young (finger) missing, Murray leads the charge offensively and has been rocking recently, with averages of 22.5 points and 8.5 assists across his last six appearances.

Kobe Bufkin Suffers A Shoulder Injury
9 months agoAtlanta Hawks guard Kobe Bufkin (shoulder) won't play in the Las Vegas Summer League. The 2023 No. 15 overall pick suffered a right shoulder injury during a practice session on Tuesday night, with an MRI revealing "findings consistent with right shoulder subluxation." He's expected to be ready for training camp. However, Bufkin appeared in only 17 games during his inaugural year due to a thumb injury, so his latest injury is still concerning. Kobe Bufkin Returns To Hawks Lineup Monday
1 year agoAtlanta Hawks guard Kobe Bufkin (toe) has been cleared to return to the lineup on Monday versus Chicago. He will be back in action after missing 14 games with a sprained big toe. Bufkin's return should ease Dejounte Murray's load, with Trent Forrest being pushed into the third point guard role. However, Bufkin won't be playing enough to warrant selection from fantasy managers. He's logged only 9.9 minutes per game across nine appearances during his rookie season, averaging 3.7 points and 1.7 assists.
