Kobe Bufkin Fractures His Thumb
1 year agoAtlanta Hawks guard Kobe Bufkin (thumb) was injured while practicing with the College Park Skyhawks on Thursday. X-rays revealed the 2023 No. 15 overall pick sustained a thumb fracture. He will be re-evaluated in two weeks. However, he may miss even more time. Bufkin has played sparingly for the Hawks during the 2023-24 campaign, logging just four minutes combined in two appearances. Without question, dynasty managers should keep him on the roster, although it appears it may take a year or two before he becomes a viable fantasy asset. On the other hand, Bufkin can be dropped in all season-long setups, considering he's not expected to do anything meaningful in the near future.
