New York Knicks guard Allonzo Trier has been waived by the organization. He started off his rookie season with a bang dropping two 15-point games in his first three contests. He played in 64 games in 2018, but that number decreased all the way down to 24 this season. His role in New York quickly vanished, which is why the team is likely letting him go. He probably won't have much fantasy value elsewhere, but at least he could see more playing time. The Knicks claimed Theo Pinson off waivers, so he'll fill the vacant roster spot left by Trier. Sadly, the Knicks have plenty of guards, so Pinson won't get much of a chance until the team moves on from some guards.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
