Knicks Could Be Bad Fit For Chris Paul
1 year agoPhoenix Suns guard Chris Paul is one of the hottest names in the trade market right now. One of the teams currently linked to the 38-year-old are the New York Knicks. At first glance, Paul could be a good fit for the Knicks. He's an all-around veteran player that should be able to make a positive impact on these younger players. However, the Knicks already have Jalen Brunson. He served as the point guard last season and averaged a career-high 6.2 assists in 68 games with New York. The 26-year-old appears to be the long term solution to the Knicks problems at point guard. That being said, the organization shouldn't mess that up by bringing in Paul. That would force Brunson to move over to shooting guard, which would take the ball out of his hands more often. Paul is on the last leg of his career and doesn't exactly fit into this current rotation that well.
