Kliff Kingsbury To Stay With Commanders
1 day agoFOX Sports' Jordan Schultz reports that Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury has decided to stay in D.C. for a second season despite drawing head-coaching interest around the league following an impressive turnaround that saw the Commanders go from four wins in 2023 to 12 wins in 2024 and an appearance in the NFC Championship game. Kingsbury's return will ensure continuity for the offense and for quarterback Jayden Daniels after a remarkable rookie season. The former Arizona Cardinals head coach will surely be a top head-coach candidate again next year. The opportunity to continue working with one of the best young QBs in the game was just too hard to pass up. With Kingsbury running the offense in 2024, the Commanders ranked seventh in total offense (369.6 yards per game) and fifth in scoring (28.5 points per game). It's great news for Daniels' stock in 2025.
