Kirk Cousins - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoFantasy managers who started Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins had to be expecting more when they plugged him into their lineups against a Dallas Cowboys defense ranked 26th against opposing fantasy quarterbacks. While he didn't play poorly, the conservative play calling and continued check-downs and short-passing game led to a season-low 5.26 yards per attempt for Cousins. This week he will face a Baltimore Ravens defense giving up the 17th most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. With one of the best wide receiver duos in the league and facing an average pass defense, there is no reason the Vikings can't push the ball downfield more in Week 9. If they do, Cousins projects as a low-end QB1.
