According to the team, the Minnesota Wild have placed left wing Kirill Kaprizov (lower body) on the injured reserve. The 27-year-old will undergo surgery and is expected to miss at least four weeks of action. Kaprizov missed time earlier this season with this same injury but faced a setback and will now require surgery. Over his previous three contests, Kaprizov tallied two helpers and averaged just under three shots on goal per game. Across 37 contests this season, Kaprizov has scored 23 goals and 29 helpers, with 12 of his points coming on the power-play. He has averaged 3.5 shots on goal per game while logging 22 minutes of ice time per game. While sidelined, fantasy managers should expect Matt Boldy to operate as the top left wing in the Minnesota offense for the foreseeable future.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
