Kirby Yates Finally Gets A Save
4 years agoSan Diego Padres closer Kirby Yates notched his first save in Monday’s victory against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Spotted a two-run lead, Yates promptly served a moonshot to Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger to make things interesting. He then struck out the side to secure the Friars win. Drafted as a premium closer, fantasy managers will hold their breaths that Yates doesn’t squander many more opportunities.
