Killian Hayes Unlikely To Play In Wednesday’s Game
4 years agoDetroit Pistons point guard Killian Hayes (hip) has been tagged as doubtful for Wednesday's contest against Milwaukee as he battles a strained right hip that forced him to exit Monday's game. Hayes, who the team grabbed with the 7th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, has scuffled mightily from the field to begin his career, shooting 27.7 percent overall en route to averaging 4.6 PPG. Inserted as the team's starting PG out of the gates, the 19-year-old Hayes figures to cede way to either Delon Wright or Derrick Rose while he is sidelined. His likely next best shot to suit up comes Friday versus the Suns, but he can remain on the wire in all-sized season-long formats while he works out his offensive kinks.
