3 years agoDetroit Pistons point guard Killian Hayes (head) has been ruled out for Wednesday's preseason game against the New York Knicks. Hayes was involved in a collision during the team's previous preseason game on Monday. According to the injury report, he is out for Wednesday's game with a concussion, but there hadn't been any mention of a concussion during Monday's game, so things are a bit unclear at this point. Hayes had also been dealing with an ankle injury prior to Monday's game. The second-year point guard has an important season ahead as he's coming off of an uneven rookie year. He'll have help in the form of first overall pick Cade Cunningham (ankle) this year, though Cunningham is currently sidelined with an ankle injury of his own.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
