Kike Hernandez Collects Four Hits
4 years agoBoston Red Sox utilityman Kike Hernandez had a breakout game on Saturday, collecting four hits in the Red Sox's 7-4 win over the Chicago White Sox. Hernandez has been hitting the ball hard all season with very little to show for it. He is in the 74th percentile in barrel percentage and 86th percentile in expected slugging percentage, even though his actual slugging was a measly .314 entering the game. It was only a matter of time before the hits started pouring in for Hernandez, and with the production behind him in the Red Sox order, his ability to score runs will make him a valuable fantasy player.
