Kieffer Bellows To Make NHL Debut On Tuesday
5 years agoNew York Islanders forward Kieffer Bellows will suit up for his National Hockey League debut on Tuesday versus the Dallas Stars. The 21-year-old, who was the 19th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, will skate on the Islanders' third line alongside center Derick Brassard. After a very slow start in the AHL this season (three points in 19 games), Bellows has potted 18 goals over his last 26 contests while playing big minutes for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The Islanders are in desperate need of goal scoring so the Minnesota native should get plenty of opportunity in his first NHL call-up. Bellows is certainly a player worth monitoring in all fantasy leagues given his scoring potential.
