Khris Davis Reluctantly Continues To Sit
5 years agoOakland Athletics designated hitter Khris Davis (hand) sat out his second consecutive game on Saturday against the Los Angeles Angels. "He wanted to play," manager Bob Melvin said, "and if you look at his numbers off (Angels starter Tyler) Skaggs, it would suggest that you want to play, you're going to try and get in there." Davis was hit by a 97 mph fastball on his left hand. Melvin said Davis might be able to return on Sunday for the series finale. Fantasy owners will want to see him play a full game without any setbacks before plugging him back into the starting lineup
