Khris Davis Crushes 38th Homer
6 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Khris Davis homered in his third straight game, tying J.D. Martinez for the MLB HR lead with his 38th homer of the season in a 6-0 victory over the Rangers. He finished the game 2-for-4 with a run and three RBI, including the two-run shot in the seventh inning off Matt Moore. Davis has passed 100 RBI (102) for the third straight season and is only two homers shy of achieving at least 40 homers in three straight seasons as well. He continues to be an underrated fantasy bat despite putting up monster homer numbers. While Davis doesn’t steal bases or maintain a high batting average (.263), he continues to do more than enough to earn more respect in the fantasy community.
