Khalil Herbert Should See More Touches Against Lions
2 years agoChicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert will look to finish his season strong over the final two games and that quest will begin in Week 17 against the Lions. Herbert (hip) returned to action last week after missing a month and struggled to get anything going offensively. He will go up against a Lions defense that was just shredded by the Panthers running attack last week. Herbert himself posted 57 rushing yards on 10 carries against the Lions in Week 10 and his speed could be an asset playing indoors in Week 17. Starter David Montgomery will continue to get first-team reps but Herbert could easily eclipse him in touches over the course of this game. Herbert has upside in daily fantasy but he will be a very risky roll of the dice across standard fantasy formats in Week 17.
