Khalil Herbert Pops Another Touchdown In Week 8
2 years agoChicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert carried the ball a team-high 16 times for 99 yards with one touchdown in the Bears' 49-29 loss to the Cowboys in Week 8. Herbert did not get the first crack in the backfield, but his top-end speed and skills are becoming impossible to ignore. Herbert ripped off an impressive 36-yard run and simply has an extra gear that starter David Montgomery does not possess. The Bears officially have a three-headed monster in their backfield with Herbert, Montgomery and quarterback Justin Fields leading the way for a Chicago offense that now has three straight games of 200-plus rushing yards. Even if Herbert isn't the "starter" moving forward, he is becoming a player that you can start in most fantasy formats.

Khalil Herbert Has A Solid Showing Versus The Steelers
3 months agoCincinnati Bengals running back Khalil Herbert got the start for the injured Chase Brown (ankle) in Saturday's crucial win over the Steelers. The 26-year-old, who was acquired by the Bengals in November, had played sparingly since arriving in Cincinnati. However, he did exactly what was needed on Saturday night, running for 69 yards off 20 carries while adding seven catches for 14 yards. The Bengals still have a shot at the postseason. But if Herbert's season is finished, he'll likely draw interest from at least a few teams in free agency. With that said, unless he gets a meaningful role in 2025-26, his fantasy upside will remain capped.

Khalil Herbert May Need To Take Over In Week 18
4 months agoCincinnati Bengals running back Khalil Herbert has barely seen any action since being traded by the Chicago Bears in November. He's appeared in seven games for the Bengals this season. However, he has only eight carries for 45 yards and one catch for seven yards to show for it. But with Chase Brown (ankle) questionable for the Week 18 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Herbert may take over as the No. 1 option out of the backfield. The 26-year-old was once one of the most promising young backs in the National Football League, giving him some upside on Saturday. Still, his presence in any fantasy lineup isn't without risk.

Khalil Herbert Gets Some Work In Week 17
4 months agoCincinnati Bengals running back Khalil Herbert had 23 yards off four carries in Saturday's win over the Broncos. Chase Brown (ankle) had another solid fantasy showing, going for 67 yards on the ground off 20 touches and adding four grabs for 24 yards. However, with Brown suffering an ankle injury late in the contest, Herbert got some meaningful work. With that said, there's a chance Brown may not be healthy enough to play in Week 18 versus the Steelers. If that's the case, Herbert will enter the flex conversation while emerging as a DFS value option.

Khalil Herbert Doesn't See The Field Much In Bengals Debut
5 months agoCincinnati Bengals running back Khalil Herbert was traded from Chicago on Tuesday before the trade deadline. It was surprising that the team activated him for his first game after just two days of practice. He only played 2% of the offensive snaps and didn't register any touches in the box score. He did fumble the hand-off on one play but was able to recover it. He'll have some extra time with the team and the playbook as the Bengals take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night in Week 11.
