5 years agoGolden State Warriors center Kevon Looney underwent successful core muscle surgery on Tuesday. It was an injury plagued campaign for Looney in 2019-2020, but hopefully he's finally corrected his issues. The Warriors are out of playoff contention, so it makes sense for Looney to undergo surgery at this point. Head coach Steve Kerr had high hopes for Looney being an impact player this season, but injuries kept him sidelined throughout most of the year. He'll likely have to battle Marquese Chriss and anyone else they add for playing time in 2020-2021.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
