Kevin Roy will tee it up at Detroit Golf Club for the Rocket Mortgage Classic for the first time in his young career on the PGA Tour. The Syracuse, NY, native earned his tour card by finishing in the top 25 on the Korn Ferry Tour as a 32-year-old. So far this season, he's only made the cut six times in 18 attempts, most recently an 18th-place finish at the Mexico Open. Roy is a cool story, and he clearly has some game when things are going right (6.1 strokes gained on approach at the Honda Classic), but there's nothing here to make him rosterable in daily fantasy formats for the RM Classic. Maybe the upstate New Yorker will surprise some people before the week comes to a close.--Tommy Bell
