Kevin Porter Jr. Traded To Bucks
3 mins agoThe Milwaukee Bucks acquired guard Kevin Porter Jr. from the Clippers to bolster their backcourt before Thursday's NBA Trade Deadline. Milwaukee will send forward MarJon Beauchamp to the Clippers in exchange. Porter has been a solid backup point guard for the Clippers this season after sitting out all of 2023-24. He played 45 of the team's 50 games including two starts and averaged 9.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.0 steals in 19.6 minutes per game. KPJ will likely serve as the Bucks' primary backup to Damian Lillard for the rest of this season, and he has a player option for 2025-26. He will likely take playing time from Ryan Rollins and A.J. Green.
