The New York Mets drafted catcher Kevin Parada out of Georgia Tech with the 11th overall pick in this year's draft. The right-handed Parada was the first catcher taken in the draft. He's coming off of a phenomenal year at Georgia Tech in which he slashed .361/.453/.709 with 26 home runs, 11 stolen bases, 88 RBI and 79 runs. There are some concerns about his defense as he's been said to have trouble with throwing accuracy and his arm strength is questionable. However, the overwhelming consensus is that he's a high-end hitting prospect and the clear top catcher in the 2022 draft class.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBallerRead More News
