Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Kevin Lankinen is set to make his second career appearance on Friday against Detroit. His debut in the big league didn't go too well when he allowed five goals on 30 shots in a 5-4 overtime loss to Nashville. The Hawks have struggled mightily in defense early in the season, as they have given up five goals in all four games so far. Detroit had an awful year in 2019-20, and they aren't expected to improve much this season either, but Jeff Blashill's team has looked decent so far with two wins in four games, so it's risky business to rely on Lankinen on Friday's slate.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
