6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier (thumb) will head out on a rehab assignment next Tuesday in Dunedin. Updated Monday was the expected timeline, which says now that Kiermaier could return June 22, which will be several weeks ahead of schedule. Even if it takes an extra week or so, a return by the end of June would still be a good result given the prognosis. Kiermaier has the potential to hit 10 home runs and steal 10 bases the rest of the season and is a .260 career hitter. Now is the time to look to add Kiermaier, especially in rotisserie leagues.--Jamie Mellor
