6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier left the game Saturday versus Cleveland. After the game, he said that his back had been bothering him for a week and it acted up again after a particularly hard throw. Kiermaier expects to play again Sunday so the issue seems more like something owners will just have to monitor going forward. He also drove in what would turn out to be the eventual game-winner. Kiermaier has plenty of potential but this has been a horrible season. Despite the heroics Saturday, Kiermaier is still only hitting .198 for the season. If you play in deep leagues, keep Kiermaier in mind for 2019 if his price drops far enough as he still possesses the physical talent.--Jamie Mellor
