Kevin Harvick Finishes Fourth At New Hampshire After Late Strategy Call
1 year agoKevin Harvick had a great long-run car at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Monday afternoon, but his fourth-place finish didn't come easy. During the race, Harvick's crew chief made a couple of questionable pit-strategy calls, but was lucky to get bailed out with a late caution that allowed the No. 4 team to stay out during the upcoming pit cycle and get much-needed track position. Harvick's crew chief, Rodney Childers, tweeted, "I needed to make some better calls early in the race to have a shot. Thankfully the one at the end was OK." Harvick's fourth-place finish makes it nine results of sixth or better for him in the last 10 races at New Hampshire.
