2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher Kevin Ginkel thinks he might have been tipping his pitches against the Los Angeles Dodgers last Saturday, and he's planning to make some adjustments to the way he holds the ball in his glove before his delivery. The Athletic's Eno Sarris tweeted screenshots of Ginkel before he delivered the baseball that showed his wrist bent before throwing a slider and straight before a fastball. The 29-year-old gave up three runs on two hits (one home run) in his outing against the Dodgers on Saturday. Hopefully with some adjustments before he delivers pitches, he'll fare better without opposing hitters knowing what's coming. In two outings so far in 2023, Ginkel has allowed three earned runs in 1 2/3 frames.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
