Kevin Durant Unlikely To Return Right After All-Star Break
3 years agoBrooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant (knee) remains without a timetable to return to the court due to an MCL sprain. On Thursday, Nets coach Steve Nash discussed the injury with the press, saying there's a "small chance" that Durant returns shortly after the All-Star break, but that it was more likely he'll need a bit longer as the team is being extra cautious with him. Nash said, "We want to be really careful because a setback would be tough when there are 20 or so games left." Durant has been out since January 15. For now, the team will continue to lean on the likes of Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, LaMarcus Aldridge and, in road games, Kyrie Irving.
