Kevin Durant To Sign With Brooklyn Nets
5 years agoFree agent forward Kevin Durant has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Brooklyn Nets. When healthy, Durant is one of the NBA’s five best players, a dynamic scorer who can dominate inside and outside with his array of moves. But Durant’s expected to miss all of the 2019-2020 season with a torn Achilles, which means that while this move is huge for the NBA in the future, it doesn’t really mean much in fantasy re-draft leagues, where Durant will be little more than a late round flyer by fantasy owners who don’t believe that he won’t play. There are also questions about his recovery from an injury that has a track record of being tough for players to return from, but Durant’s game is predicated more on his length and shooting touch than his athleticism, so he should be fine in that regard.
